The Kodiak Drop-in system is a great, inexpensive way to turn your pick-up into a work truck. The Drop-in body can be removed in only minutes without having to unload your tools, creating full use of your pick-up. The top can be diamond plate, swirl finish or powder coat aluminum. A full or half door is available. Units are customized to fit any size truck. The top or bottom may also be purchased separately. The bottom or "pan" portion is $850 to $1150 depending on vehicle size. It can be attached to your topper, thus making a lift out system.
Unit shown is a drop-in unit which is removed from the truck. The rear roll-out table is extended, and a typical placement of equipment is shown. The MaxRack bin and shoe peg system is shown sliding out the passenger side. This bin system will slid out either side, allowing convenient access to shoes and supplies. Pad racks, nail trays and a complete electrical system are built into the overhead thus saving valuable floor space. In this photo, optional lift jacks are used for removal, but the next photo shows the unit being removed with overhead hoists. Because no equipment or supplies have to be removed from the unit, it usually takes less than 10 minutes to remove or install the entire drop-in unit.
